Updates, security patches, monitoring, backups and small improvements on a monthly plan, from a developer who knows your code.
Starting price
From €400/month
The final price depends on scope. You get a fixed quote or a day-rate estimate before any work starts.
Most websites and web apps do not break all at once. A plugin stops getting updates, a payment library changes its API, a server runs out of disk space, and one day the checkout or the contact form stops working. Regular maintenance prevents that.
I maintain live products for businesses that need a senior developer who knows their code, without hiring one full time:
Each month I update frameworks, packages and plugins on a staging copy first, test the critical flows and then release. Backups run automatically, and I test a restore so you know they work. Uptime and error monitoring send alerts straight to me. The remaining hours go to bug fixes and the small improvements that sit at the bottom of every backlog.
At the end of the month you get a short report: what was updated, what was fixed and what I recommend next. If an update reveals a bigger problem, such as a framework version that has reached end of life, I tell you early and we plan it together, often as a legacy migration.
I work on working days from 8:00 to 22:00 CET and reply within one working day. I do not offer 24/7 support, and I would rather say that up front than promise it.
I built and still maintain the WordPress sites of three Maltese magazines, VAMP Magazine, Served and The Malta Artpaper, and their footers say "Powered by Liviu.dev". Since 2024 I have also kept CautElectrician.ro, a directory of electricians across Romania, updated and growing, and I maintain WithMaslow.com, which I took over from its previous developers. More in my portfolio.
Plans start from €400 a month; you get a fixed monthly quote after a short scoping call. The price depends on the size of the app, how many environments and integrations it has, how often its dependencies need updating and how many development hours you want each month. For WordPress sites, I also offer WordPress development when you need more than upkeep, and technical SEO and performance work fits well alongside a plan.
Tell me what you run, where it is hosted and what has been going wrong. Get a quote for a maintenance plan and I will reply within one working day.
I review the code, hosting, access and backups, document how the site is deployed and fix anything urgent before the plan starts.
We agree what the plan covers, how many hours a month you need and how you report issues to me.
Updates, backups, monitoring and fixes run on a regular schedule, and you get a short report at the end of each month.
Every few months we look at where the time went, adjust the plan and schedule any bigger work, such as a version upgrade.

Plans start from €400/month, which covers updates, backups, monitoring and a small block of hours for fixes. Larger apps or plans with more development time cost more, and you get a fixed monthly price after I review the site. Work outside the plan is billed at €60/hour.
Yes. Before taking it on I review the code, hosting and access, fix anything urgent and write down how the site is deployed. A handover call with the previous developer helps if they are still reachable, but it is not required.
No. I work on working days from 8:00 to 22:00 CET and reply within one working day. Monitoring alerts come straight to me, so I can act on an outage without waiting for someone to report it.

Yes. Small improvements fit inside the monthly hours. Bigger features are quoted separately, at a fixed price or €480/day, so the monthly cost stays predictable.
