• Authentication and permissions: whether users can only see their own data, including Supabase row-level security policies.
• Secrets: API keys and service credentials that ended up in browser code or in the repository.
• The data model: tables and relationships that will make the next features slow or hard to build.
• Code health: duplicated logic, dead code and components the AI rewrote several different ways.
• Deploys and recovery: environments, backups, error monitoring and what happens when something fails.

How the rescue works

It starts with an audit. I review the code, database and hosting, then give you a written report ranked by risk, with a recommendation for each area: keep, refactor or rebuild. Critical security issues are flagged straight away. After that, you choose whether I fix things, your team does, or we split the work.

I don't throw away working code on principle. I keep what's sound, fix what's risky first, and add tests around the flows your business depends on, so later changes don't quietly break sign-up or payments.

CautElectrician.ro, a directory of electricians across Romania, runs on Nuxt 4 and Supabase. On WithMaslow, I took over an existing codebase from previous developers in 2024, then rebuilt the API in Laravel 13 on PostgreSQL.
