A plugin stops getting updates, a payment library changes its API, a server runs out of disk space, and one day the checkout or the contact form stops working. Regular maintenance prevents that. I maintain live products for businesses that need a senior developer who knows their code, without hiring one full time: - Founders whose original developer or agency has moved on - Publishers and marketing teams running WordPress sites - SaaS and booking products on Nuxt, Laravel, React or Next.js that need regular updates and small features - Agencies that want a reliable white-label developer for their clients' sites ## What a month of maintenance looks like Each month I update frameworks, packages and plugins on a staging copy first, test the critical flows and then release. Backups run automatically, and I test a restore so you know they work. Uptime and error monitoring send alerts straight to me. The remaining hours go to bug fixes and the small improvements that sit at the bottom of every backlog. At the end of the month you get a short report: what was updated, what was fixed and what I recommend next. If an update reveals a bigger problem, such as a framework version that has reached end of life, I tell you early and we plan it together, often as a [legacy migration](https://liviu.dev/services/legacy-migrations). The price depends on the size of the app, how many environments and integrations it has, how often its dependencies need updating and how many development hours you want each month.
